Need support
Some bad surprise when I should change the timing chain. The tensioner is broken. What to do? Is it possible to repair? I have a HONDA XL500S from 1980. See pictures here: http://frestaholken.se/2016-02-08_1.jpg and here: http://frestaholken.se/2016-02-08_2.jpg

Hi there and greetinx to Sweden !
There will be no reasonable way to fix the tensoiner !
You´re gonna need a good , used replacement part ...best from a XL500R or FT500...this is an selfadjustig tensioner and will fit to the "S" as well !
Carry on and keep you ride rolling !

Thanks Jonny Nitro for your response!
But until now impossible to find. Only one used at Ebay in the states. Has anyone made a "more modern construction" Its a lot of space for a better one.
Yes, "Carry on and keep you ride rolling !" sounds good. But still is my Honda more or less in pieces. http://frestaholken.se/2015-10-25.jpg
