The cam doesn't sit in the recess that was machined for it.
It seems to be too long.
UPDATE: I've just measured the length against the old one and they're the same. Also shone light down and appears to be a chamfer NOT a step.
Just found a picture I took on disassembly and it was the same before

The screws for the timing chain sprocket do not look original. The main thing is to put 17 Nm on it.

I thing that these screws have special dimensions do fix the sprocket in position and are special hardened.

Thanks everyone, but hopefully that bolt will be OK. One got rounded off and this is a genuine Honda bolt with the same part number (although it does look slightly different with the flange).
