Hello... Can somebody tell me can I put camshaft from Honda xr 500
(1979) in my Honda xl 500r ???? I can buy it really cheap and it's new.
I would only have to put the pin. Is there any difference between camshafts from Honda Ft 500, Xl 500 r ,Xl 500s and xr 500???

I also need to know do the valves from honda xr 500 1979 fit on head of honda xl 500s??

The camshafts and the valves are the same. Just the carburator, the generator, the exhaust and the exhaust manifold differ (but the XR-Engine will run with XL-Parts as well - and the other way round).
