we have an 82 model bike and the TUV is due soon is September
but the side stand does not return when you sit upright on the bike
due to some weird but not original plate the side stand is mounted on
now in England im sure if I remove the side stand I could get an MOT (TUV)
so is a side stand even required on a bike for a TUV

Hi Del,
if you want, come to a little barbecue and you will run off the garage with the finest self returning side stand the TÜV has ever seen. :D ..order at alttec two of these springs...the rest will be welded
Cheers,
Karsten

Hi Del;
yes !
A fully functional side or main stand (included correct papers if second partie; so called ABE) is required for the TÜV.
