Install freehand ground cams for KTM or Husqvarna, unsuitable materials (C45 for cams) and, in this video, any passenger car cams designed and machined for bucket tappets into an XL500 that has rocker arms. That might work somehow, but it's botched, doesn't result in reasonable control times and no usable valve lift curves. His videos are quite well done though.
