I added "ventilentluftung" as was discussed many times in this forum. (8 x 24 mm bolt drilled trough with 4 mm, placed in front "deckel", fuel line 6 mm up to stear bearing and a little distance back again)
At stationary rpm the pressure pulses are easily felt, at higher rpm the pressure pulses are dropping off.
So far nothing new.
What I like to try is to add an *ony way* valve in the "entlufting", creating a free path for the air going out, but blocking air going in. The net result should be an average (slightly) lower than atmospheric pressure in the motor itself, probably reducing oil leaks. (?)
The "valve" is realised by shaping a piece of shrink tubing, somewhat to ackt like a reed valve - this is simple to do.
Does it work? Have to try it yet.....(just installed it - but the wheather is so bad now)
Is the idea sound? you comment.....tried before?
Question: how short can one make the tube before oil actually comes out? The "valve" should keep unwanted moisture out...
